So recently, that soul brother Steve Harvey has had a movie come out that was based on his self help relationship advice novel, “Think Like a Man, Act Like a Lady.” Women everywhere have been eating up his advice as if this guy is a guru on relationships and that his advice works, and men feel that he has been “giving the game away,” however, in essence, he hasn’t. What people don’t understand is that Mr. Harvey is just giving his view on relationships meaning all men do not correspond to what he has listed within his novel. Although I admit a bit of his advice possess some sense of validity, essentially it does not relate to ALL men. I say all of that to say this, you are a NEW fool if you really feel like this guy has told you everything you need to know about men and how to deal with us in relationships.

Would you trust advice from this guy? LMAO
So I was rolling around within the confines of my own mind and I was thinking a couple of thoughts last night. Within any sense of life we all believe or at least exhibit some form of thoughts about our own “spirit” or “soul.” In essence our soul is said to be raw energy, nothing more nothing less and cannot be destroyed yet just passed on and used within another manner. Therefore if my soul is raw energy as it is believed, then actually how old am I? I mean it is understood that within my existence within this physical plane I am 24 years of age and that I was born in 1988. But if my “soul” is actually consists of “raw energy” that has been passed on throughout time as we know it, is it possible I have been here before? And if I have, why do I keep coming back? So then I thought, “If I have been here before, I wonder I how I died?!”

In the wake of the Trayvon Martin situation I began to question my identity as a “black” man living within this land that is called the United States. But then I remembered that despite any event that takes places within this nation, although racism is alive and well within the country, it is not the central dynamic within this situation. Amongst everything that we should take from this , the one thing that matters, which is quite obvious in my opinion, is that the word “justice” does not amount for sh*t when it is in accordance with a “black” man. Don’t get me wrong, we all want Justice for Trayvon, but let’s be honest with ourselves, we’re not going to get it. In all honesty, if life was a 100 yard dash, being born a “black” man in his country would be equivalent to starting that race 25 yards from the official starting point, wearing a blindfold, and wearing a 100 pound weighted vest, before that race even begins.
